TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Community Fitness Alliance (“CFA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) website, platform, and all related content and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform.

1. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and features made available on the Platform — including but not limited to the design, layout, structure, look and feel, text, copy, graphics, logos, the CFA badge and Maltese cross mark, images, photographs, videos, icons, page templates, program materials, curricula, and the underlying software and source code — are the exclusive property of Community Fitness Alliance and/or its licensors, and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.

2. Restrictions — No Copying or Reproduction

You may not, without CFA’s prior written permission, do any of the following:

• Copy, reproduce, duplicate, clone, scrape, harvest, or download any part of the Platform, its content, design, or source code;
• Reproduce, republish, mirror, or recreate the Platform or any substantially similar site, layout, or design, in whole or in part;
• Use the CFA name, badge, logos, marks, copy, or branding, or any confusingly similar identifier, in connection with any other website, product, service, or organization;
• Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Platform or its content;
• Use any automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers) to access or extract content from the Platform;
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice.

3. Trademarks

“Community Fitness Alliance,” “CFA,” the CFA badge and Maltese cross design, and associated slogans and marks are trademarks and/or service marks of Community Fitness Alliance. Nothing on the Platform grants any license or right to use any CFA mark without our prior written permission.

4. Limited License to Use

Subject to these Terms, and where access is granted, CFA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Platform or its content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CFA.

5. Accounts & Access

Certain areas of the Platform require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your access, or use another person’s account without authorization. We may suspend or terminate access at any time for conduct that violates these Terms.

6. Enforcement & Remedies

Unauthorized use, copying, or reproduction of the Platform or its content is a violation of these Terms and of applicable law. CFA reserves the right to pursue all available legal and equitable remedies, including injunctive relief and the recovery of damages and costs, and to issue takedown notices to web hosts, domain registrars, and search providers with respect to any infringing use.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. CFA does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Any content is provided for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional advice.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
